Halloween

Well, let's face it. You're in college, so this is the first real time you get to dive into Halloween since, what, 6th grade? Did you even make it that long before your mom rolled her eyes and said, "Go buy your own candy and stop stealing from the kiddies..."

So if you're going out, send us a (decent) pic of your costume. I'll help you out by posting one of mine when I can get it from film to digital... Or maybe I'll just have to create a new one. Hmmm...

Our first challenge is back!


Alright here it is...the floaty car thingy is sitting on top of a pointless two-piece metal device that I made in shop-training at the Ford Engineering Design Building here at NU. My instructor designed the making of the metal device to help us get acquainted with some of the machines in the shop (which are set in the background). And since homework and school is all I do here, I thought a picture in an academic setting would be fitting.

Have you discovered yet how often we eat pizza in college? Seriously, it's a staple. How much has prayer been a staple for you in this new life? Bet not--it's hard to fit in and sometimes, hard to see the relevance. But just like our pizza-preferences change, so do our prayer-preferences.
